Tehran is ready to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States provided that it is approached with "dignity" and "respect", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared exclusively dialogue was effective, and revealed recent overtures had been made by go-betweens to reopen discussions with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Iran had not yet reached a point to allow the global atomic watchdog to visit bombed nuclear sites for security reasons.

Walking a Challenging Course

The foreign minister is treading a complex route since Iran wishes not to be perceived to be proceeding from a stance of weakness, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged more powerful defensively and psychologically from the coordinated strike on its enrichment centers in June.

He was talking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an absolute privilege to process nuclear material domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the main reason of the deadlock in the prior discussions.

Earlier Talks Suddenly Concluded

The prior phases of discussions between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and bitter end on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, targeted Iran's enrichment centers in a fortnight-long engagement that concluded with the US president asserting the sites had been destroyed. Afterward, EU nations employed their authority to reimpose global restrictions, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Magic Solution Proposed

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had attained a "perfect agreement" to the nuclear fuel concern in prior discussions, when it was decided an local partnership with Washington's engagement could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's atomic project was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that US nuclear scientists could work on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the consortium proposal. In his remarks to the gathering, aimed to portray the US as a dominant force that abuses the notion of worldwide standards, Araghchi stated the fortnight-long engagement showed the clash could not be resolved by armed force. He said the strikes started with a American requirement for an total Iran submission and ended with an unconditional call for a truce.

Iran is convinced the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were mounted with complete American awareness and coordination, making confidence hard to reestablish.

Recovery and Reconstruction

In what is portrayed by Tehran representatives as the battle of recovery and rebuilding, Araghchi stated he was assured Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been reestablished. We learned many lessons from this war; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the vulnerabilities of the opponent."

He stated: "We successfully passed this war. Our atomic expertise, which they intended to eliminate, stays intact. The facilities and equipment, if eliminated, will be restored; what is essential is the determination of the Iranian people and then the social solidarity that they targeted, but did not succeed to destroy. The Iranian people have become more powerful, more united, and more backing of the administration and the country in the face of this assault."
